Good News Club is a Bible study for children lasting about an hour immediately after school on a weekday.
Traditionally a Good News Club was held in a home with all the neighborhood children invited.
It is our desire to continue this tradition wherever homes are open.
However, in recent years Supreme Court action has opened the doors to the public schools to have a Good News Club as an after school program.
In the '10-'11 season we were able to see 30 Good News Clubs take place in Central Maine.
The Good News Club program includes lively songs that teach important truths, Scripture memorization, and a clear presentation of the Gospel usually within the Bible lesson.
The children enjoy the time of friendly interaction, competition, and refreshments.
